Mission Update
January 31, 2006

Dear Brothers and Sisters,

On December the 5th, 2005, my wife and I left for the Philippines. We attended the first Asian Ministers Conference that was held in the Philippines, hosted by a Brother from Singapore. There was brothers from Nepal, Thailand, Indonesia, Mauritius, Trinidad and Singapore. The meetings was a blessing. There were about 100 ministers present at the conference, ministers from the Philippines and the different parts of the country. It was such a harmony amongst the brethren. There were questions from different ministers that were answered. Truly everyone was blessed. On December 12th we flew to Mindanao and had some meeting there with Bro. Luth Cinco pastor of a church in Jabonga, Bangony, Augusan del Norte. December 13th we had a baptism and baptized about 135 people that Bro. Roel Soriano had introduced to the message. These people, as we were told, some of them do not even know when they were born. Very sad. December 14th we went to San Francisco, Agusan del Sur to preach at Bro. Adme Villa's church. December 15th we took a boat to go to another island called Siargao. We ministered at Pastor Dulpina's church. When we arrived at the church there was a group of believers to welcome us. One sister in particular that was there to greet us had fallen on December 5th and hit her head on the concrete and lost her eyesight. Her husband was leading the sister to us so she could put the necklace that they had made from sea shells around our necks. After we settled in all of us prayed for the sister and seemed like nothing happened. That night we had a service and Bro. Don Harbour preached and when he was finished they asked me to preach and I preached on the power of prayer and told the story about John Ryan. After preaching, I ask if anyone wanted to be prayed for and the sister's husband brought her up. We prayed for her and God gave her eyesight back to her. She was rejoicing and praising the Lord. This is the first time my wife has ever seen a miracle like this and she was really blessed. God is still moving for his people. Praise the Lord. When we left that island the people was rejoicing and praising the Lord. God is so good and how could we ever thank him enough for all he has done for us.

We have some news letters that have been printed up about our trip to the Philippines and the different countries. If you are interested in receiving one you can send an e-mail to smahadeo@carolina.rr.com.

God bless,
Bro. Cyril Mahadeo
