Dear Brother Henry Goi, Brother Nestor,

A warm Shalom from Yangon, Myanmar. We hope and pray that this letter finds you are well and filled with the joy of Jesus Christ this day.

Bro. Henry Goi and Brother Nestor ,we would like to report our current condition here in Myanmar at the following : Tropical cyclone Nargis smashed into Myanmar late Friday night 2nd - 3rd . May from at 11:30 PM - 12:00 noon, battering Ayeyarwaddy Delta areas, Yangon and Bago Division, as well as Mon and Kayin States, with winds sometimes exceeding 190 Kilometers an hour. At the coast a monstrous 13 foot storm. Surge was reported and has been blamed for a hefty proportion of seaside deaths. The official death toll an Monday stood at 15,000 and many people were left homeless by the Nargis plunders storm. What is certain in that Yangon, home to more than five million people , suffered massive damage. The city's residents emerged on Sunday morning to find the cyclone's monstrous fingerprints everywhere on many streets every single tree had been leveled, with power lines, roofing are assorted debris blocking the roads.

We urgently needs help a lot of message believers houses were massive damage and collapse by the cyclone Nargis. Kindly pray earnestly for the saints of Myanmar , especially a night shelter for the homeless.

As of Friday 2nd May 2008 evening electricity suppliers were stop to those with candle light and most power lines remain where the storm left them, on the ground until today. Even the most optimistic people on the street said they thought it would be at least two months before regular supply was restored. Communications were also heavily limited. Most of the city's telephone lines were cut. However, the major problem that every body was facing was water : People usually rely on tube wells or government water supply but with no electricity to run pumps, and many water pipes damaged by uprooted trees, people were rapidly running short of water. People were trying to arrange mobile generators to draw water from the tube wells. Rice, Water, batteries, a thatch roof and rooftins also excessively increased in price.

We have been faithfully praying for you and your family and also pray for us in this critical time in our country.

A waiting your early and favorable reply.

Thanking you.

In Jesus love,

Bro. Alfred Biaka
